Last month several of you mentioned to Jen and I that you were hoping to come to Edel 2015 but couldn’t buy your ticket until the (always budget-straining) Christmas season had passed. It was important to us that those of you who were pinching pennies (as we were) had the opportunity to buy tickets before they sold out so we decided to pause ticket sales. Now that we’re well into the new year, we’re happy to announce that…
We hope you’ll join us! Edel 2015 is shaping up to be absolutely amazing. Here are a few of the new developments that we’ve been dying to share with you…
Over on Facebook last week I mentioned that we’d just booked our third Edel 2014 speaker. I’ve been dying to tell you more ever since but had to wait for a few loose ends to be tied up. I am beyond excited that I can finally reveal that…
Audrey Assad is coming to Edel 2015!
It’s true! Audrey Assad is going to be our Saturday night keynote speaker! I’m still pinching myself. I just love her.
Speaking of special guests, we’ve also arranged to have the very most special of all guests at Edel!
That’s right, girls — Jesus is coming to Edel!
My friend, Father Patrick Allen, has kindly agreed to assist us in providing Adoration at the Francis Marion on Saturday. He is also going to celebrate a special Mass on Friday evening at the nearby St. Mary’s Church for us. So, basically, he’s the best.
Do you know who else will be joining us in July?
SiriusXM! There will be a Catholic Channel show with a live audience made up exclusively of Edel attendees! How much fun is that going to be? We can’t wait to interview Edel attendees on the air! Though we probably won’t be able to chat with everyone, we’re really excited about hearing what some of you have going on so be sure to bring news of all your projects and passions!
Did you hear Jenny’s news? She is bringing a brand new Uebbing into the world! The world could never have enough Uebbings so this is very happy news, indeed. Congratulation, Jenny! Sadly for us, though, it means that she won’t be able to come to Edel.
So, who is going to replace her as the Edel 2015 emcee?
Why Haley Stewart, of course!
Those of you who attended Edel 2014 will remember that Haley was one of our phenomenal speakers last year. We are thrilled that she will be part of our team once again this year!
We have even more new and exciting features for Edel 2015 in the works that we will be sharing soon! You can follow along on our Facebook page if you’d like to be kept posted as those details are revealed!
P.S. To answer one of the most common questions we’ve received: The Edel Gathering is targeted to the needs of Catholic mothers, particularly those who still have children at home. However, all women are welcome. If you’re female and this event sounds like fun to you, we welcome you with open arms!
