Hello, all you long lost friends! I hope your new years are off to a fantastic start! I’ve missed you! Apparently, God thought that the Lord family would enjoy wrapping up 2014 with a bit of excitement so I haven’t been online much. What kind of excitement, you ask? Well, all sorts but let’s start with the very happiest of all news…
There is a new bun in the Lord family oven (that would be me). It’s true! Lordling #7 will be making his or her appearance this summer. Please keep us in your prayers!
(Oh, and all you Edel attendees should brace yourself — you’ll be seeing me full to bursting with baby. It should be a wonderful and wild adventure!)
Speaking of Edel, as some of you have noticed, we sold out of the first batch of tickets. We wanted to make sure that those of you who were pinching pennies to buy Christmas presents over the last couple of months could join us so we tucked away a few extra passes. We’ll be releasing those soon along with more details about the 2015 gathering. I hope to see you (yes, you!) there!
One of the best parts of the past few months was that Lino Rulli brought his Sirius XM radio show to Charleston so that I could co-host with him for a week. It was ridiculously fun. If you’d like to listen to the “best of” podcast, you can do so below (or right over here). I hope you enjoy it!
Should you be from the Duluth area, I will be speaking at the Duluth Catholic Women’s Conference on March 7th! I would love to see you!
Just so you can plan accordingly, I’m praying for piles and piles of snow. Don’t let me down Minnesota! You’re my only hope for a real winter experience!
